Researcher Profile

DC1: Structural optimisation & sustainable manufacturing of a harmonic drive

Anicet Bouzier graduated in 2026 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytech Sorbonne, part of Sorbonne University in Paris. His education covered general mechanical engineering, such as design and sizing, numerical simulation, materials science, structural mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, as well as manufacturing and production. During his studies, he also worked for one year as a student assistant in a Fablab, giving him hands-on experience operating machines such as 3D printers and laser cutters. In addition, he completed several academic projects covering additive manufacturing, mechanical design, finite element analysis, and product development. From 2023 to 2026, he completed an apprenticeship at Renault Group, where he worked on various topics related to vehicle comfort and structural sizing, primarily using numerical simulations in dynamics and vibration analysis. His master’s thesis was entitled Ensuring driver vibratory comfort through the steering wheel.
